Neatly formed Dutch silver ingot, 1957 grams, about 98.5% fine, with markings of VOC (Dutch East India Co.) monogram with A (Amsterdam) above and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739). 1960 grams. 6" x 1½" x 1¼". Typically uncorroded with very smooth surfaces and very deep markings near the top of one side, the other end of the bar typically pit-shaped (filled with orange encrustation) with only one small diagonal cut to fine-tune the weight in its time. From the Rooswijk (1739), with original plastic tag certificate RK05AS0222 from the salvors.
